Is it fall now?
One of the (many) strange things about living in LA is that you never really know what season you're in. My mom, who still lives in Virginia, calls every day and asks me what the weather is like. Who knows why she still asks this question because my answer is almost always, "same as yesterday!"
So, I've started to recognize the change in seasons by two things: television airing schedules and the entertainment industry. In both cases, fall means good things! I'm very excited to see what the next few months hold, as things have been busy so far.
I've also spent the last few weeks re-designing my website and putting together new marketing materials. Several new photo shoots and lots of graphic design projects to use in mailings.
Auditions continue to go well, and after a year in LA I feel like I'm finally getting in the door for the right projects! We'll see what comes of it all...
Last but not least, Matt and I have been talking about shooting a project in our hometown for several years now. We've finally got a script and a plan together to make it happen when we're home for the holidays this year. I'm putting together the web materials for that project, a historical horror/thriller, this week... rest assured, I will be posting the links on this blog!
What are you excited about this fall?
