Give It a Chance

"Busy is thee!" As stated  plenty of times before, I am trying to become the best multitasker one can be. So much to write! Oh my, where do I begin? From my frustrations and low days, to my high & feel good days. The ups and down of being a working actor. A working but also student and full time-working in the real world-actor. Will do my very best to update and write down my thoughts on Unscripted as much as I can.

Everyone is buzzing about the new film, The Help. I have yet to see it but am very curious to those who have seen it, what did you think of the film? I have read several pieces and quotes on the film both good and bad but one quote stood out the most to me, was a quote from Viola Davis,  who plays Aibileen Clark. Viola Davis, along with Emma Stone and Octavia Spencer recently chatted with EW.com  Below is  a quote where her words hit home.

Viola, on hoping people give the film a chance: “There are few movies coming out this year with African-American women in them. Very few are being made. Black actresses have enough obstacles in our way without someone protesting an opportunity for us to show our work on screen. Its one thing if you go see The Help and you don’t like it. But give it a chance!”

 Give it a chance.

There it goes. That word that stung me like a bee.

A chance.

All it takes it just one.  Just one impression.

Give someone a chance today!

You never know who might need it.

Angela Sauer

I saw it last night. The acting is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Mercedes Rose

I liked it. In fact, I saw it twice. But I actually liked One Day so I may not be a good judge! If nothing else, the acting was fan-friggen-tastic.
