Run Away With Me...

     This past Sunday night, I had the honor of performing alongside 15 other wonderful performers and Michael Arden at the Kerrigan and Lowdermilk concert.  I've been in love with Micheal Arden singing "Run Away With Me" for quite sometime and a fan of Kerrigan and Lowdermilk's expressive music for even longer, so to share the stage with both definitely brought out my inner musical theatre nerd! It was an amazing night. I felt so lucky to be sharing the stage with so many talented individuals who are all so passionate about what they do. For me, there's really nothing better then watching performers lose themselves in the music and expressing real emotion onstage. With Brian and Kate's music, it's so easy to go there. They are such feeling musicians and give artists a lot to work with material wise - which seems rare these days. And by the way, they are seriously the coolest people to work with! So down to earth and kind, and their incredible talent and work ethic is infectious.

I love, love, love that song. My classmate sang it for a musical theatre workshop two years ago, and I kept thinking, if I were man, this is exactly the song I would have chosen. Love. :)
