Happy World Theatre Day!
March 27th is the day that the International Theatre Institute celebrates World Theatre Day!
If you haven't read it yet, Lynn Nottage (who won the 2009 Pulitzer prize for her play Ruined) was asked to write the US message for the occasion (they ask a different prominent theatre artist each year), and Dame Judi Dench wrote the World message. They both rock. Click here to read them.
Or better yet, check out this video of Ms. Nottage, sharing her message.

We are cultural watchdogs. And every day is a theatre day.
(P.S. The quotation at the top is from Kristin Chenoweth.)
Happy World Theatre Day everyone!
Speaking of Theatre I have spent the past week in one. Go to my blog to read my diary!
