More Than A Role

Supermodelsmall

I was approached by a director with what I would call a crazy idea before i thought about what it is that I am doing. After being one of my Twitter followers for a while, I was asked to take a role in a Webisode Series. the person looked at my modeling port and somehow started researching me and my blogs and other networks. So as we spoke, and he divulged more info to me about the show, he revealed that the show that i would participate in would be wrapped around the lifestyles of four homosexual men.

As I thought about the part a little more, i began to think of all of the backlash i can catch from doing such a taboo part and how my career could end before it would start. I thought about how controversial the topic of homosexuality is and how it has plagued actors forever...lets not mention what it could do to a Black actor.

I called a new friend of mine and asked for his input. I figured hes an actor, pretty successful and knowledgeable. After a long conversation and some great advice, I thought about the role a little more. Now its on to making a decision about the part. What do you guys think?

Sometimes in life, the best choices come about just by taking a risk. that risk can either be good or bad :) we all have a choice

and I say, trust in your instinct and let that be your guide.

You never know what's behind that door or corner, so trust in that :)
