The Costume

Aricia

I have purchased the costume. My favorite costume ever-- I somehow have acquired every inch of it, which I fully intend to wear all the time. I love it I love it, and I am so happy I have it forever.

This acquisition officially marks the mandated end of my post-show depression. Time to get it together and put full attention towards my upcoming move. So... cutting carbs, upping activity, monologue classes, private coaching. No more wallowing in the end, even if it was such an amazing experience.

My next move is putting together a lesson plan. I have a lead for a teaching position in a high school. I'm thinking playing to my strengths by teaching a wonderful technique called punctuation walk taught to me by Kim Rubenstein at School at Steppenwolf. Used on Shakespeare it really reveals new meaning using only your body and the punctuation. I really don't know when I turned into such a theatre geek, but I hope I can translate that to high schoolers. Weird. Did I get old overnight?
