The Naked Desert

Img_1744

Looking over pictures taken this weekend--and the thoughts that came while reading, quotes I've stumbled across...and lessons gleaned. For what it's worth...

"To see you naked is to recall the earth."

-Federico Garcia Lorca (Spanish Poet)

...Have healthy physical boundaries that maintain the curtain of dignity while still allowing life to be lived, chocolate to be eaten, and spirit to be expressed.  Also, make the business end of my career a greater priority. Clear the head, the heart, and the desk of any unrequired clutter. Well...start with the desk anyhow...(insert wry grin)...

"There are those who so dislike the nude that they find something indecent in the naked truth."   -Francis H. Bradley (British Philosopher)

...Get clear on goals this month. Move Forward.
Intentionally live each moment, even if all I'm doing is cleaning the can.
Naturally, make more money....

"...wearing nothing is divine                    naked is a state of mind                 i take things off to clear my head                  to say the things i haven`t said                    i live inside my elements               the earth and sky are my best friends                     water is the evidence                that washes me from end to end..."

-first verse of track #1, "naked eye," on Luscious Jackson`s latest CD

...Self-confidence in one's outlook on life, in her physical body, and  financial independence are three of the greatest gifts a woman can give herself. Sit around naked for awhile, and see how comfortable you are with you. When the only dressage is Spirit--you find out how you rank in your own mind. That dictates where you rank in the world...

Above all. Be Grateful. And Smile.
